Dreamweaver MX 2004 Updater
3/11/04 Macromedia has released an updater to Dreamweaver MX 2004. This update fixes many bugs in the shipping version of the product and greatly improves performance on Macintosh computers. You can find it here.
Dreamweaver MX 2004 Behaviors
Dreamweaver MX 2004 doesn't introduce any new behaviors. You'll find the same behaviors that were in Dreamweaver MX in 2004. To see demos of those behaviors visit my Behavior Demo page for the Dreamweaver MX edition of this book.
Unfortunately, Macromedia did remove some behaviors -- you won't find any of the timeline behaviors used for creating Dynamic HTML animations.
But guess what? Those removed HTML animation behaviors have returned! That's right! You'll find them if you install the updater mentioned in the box above.
We were unable to put instructions about how to use the HTML animations in this edition -- the updater came after we finished writing the book.
