Dreamweaver 8: Tutorials
On this page you'll find the tutorial files that accompany Dreamweaver 8: The Missing Manual. Click the Download Files button to retrieve the tutorial files, or see the complete tutorial exercises by clicking the See completed page buttons.
Downloading the tutorial files
The tutorial files are contained in a ZIP archive. After downloading the ZIP archive, you'll need to UNZIP them. This will create a folder on your computer containing all of the tutorial files.
Mac
If you use Safari to download the files, they should automatically unzip.
Otherwise, just double-click on the downloaded ZIP file.
Windows XP
Windows XP is a little wonky when it comes to unzipping ZIP archives:
- Click the "Download Files" link for the tutorial you wish to download.
- Internet Explorer and Firefox should both open a window asking if you wish to "open" or "download" the file. Choose the "open" option.
- A folder will open on your computer, and inside it will be another folder. This is the folder containing the tutorial files--it will have a name like DWForms or DWTables.
- Drag that folder to your desktop.
