I came back to my office and remembered that I hadn't switched off Personal Web Sharing in the Sharing Folder in System Preferences. I did so and I've been able to choose a table from the database. I have hit one problem with the downloaded PHP tutorials though. I've followed all the instructions in PHP Tutorial 1, including loading a text file with SQL commands in it on phpMyAdmin, which showed clearly that the database nationalEx had 4 tables. When I follow the instructions on page 1 of PHP Tutorial 2 and try to create a recordset, entering rsProducts in the name field and connNationalEx in the connection field, the dialogue box refreshes itself and the Table field shows 'no table found'. Is this a problem you have come across before? Am I doing something obviously wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
