hi,
I heard the podcast, thought it was great and I'm going to buy your book. I have one issue that I hope you can give me some insight on. On this page http://www.ggmarlene.com/php/services.php
I can't make the lower left red box stay the same size in IE. Firefox displays it the way I want it too. This is a table layout right now. I want to read your book and then do everything in CSS. Could you give me some idea on how to do this with CSS, thanks

Dawn,

Thanks for the note. I remember seeing an event listed on the BarCamp site, but I thought it had already happened. I'll definitely attend if I can.

Dave,

I just heard the interview and found out that you were in Portland! We are in the process of planning a BarCamp, and we have monthly meetups to chat about cool technologies. I thought you might be interested in attending. Our next meetup is scheduled for Nov. 30, and you can get more info or RSVP on the wiki http://barcamp.org/BarCampPortland

Richard,

Thanks for that link. Amazing! No JavaScript--not even the common .htc file used to get IE 6 in line with other browsers. A very cool menu system!!!

While listening to you on "Inside the Net", Leo mentioned that Steve Gibson was working on a CSS menu with no scrips. You replied that JavaScript was required on IE6 to do triggering of menus. I looked has his work and found no script at all. Thought you might want see it.

Your book sounds like a must read. You can count on me ordering a copy.
