By popular demand, I’ve created a PHP/MySQL version of the dynamic database-driven tutorials available in Dreamweaver 8: The Missing Manual. Previous versions included only an ASP version of these tutorials—you’ll still find that in the printed book—but you can now download PDF documents containing all of the intsructions you need to build database-driven Web sites using Dreamweaver 8 and PHP/MySQL.
In addition, I’ve included some basic instructions for installing a complete testing server on your Windows or Mac computer—including the Apache Web Server, PHP and the MySQL database server.
If you haven’t bought the book, you can still download the tutorial Web site files and the first PHP tutorial file, to see if you’re interested in learning more.
