Nov132005Dreamweaver Conference at Macworld

I’ll be putting on a 2-day Dreamweaver conference at Macworld Expo in San Francisco, January 9-10, 2006.

Designed specifically for the intermediate Dreamweaver user, this two-day conference will explore advanced Web design concepts and show you how to exploit Dreamweaver 8’s sophisticated (and long) list of features. Cross the technical divide and build Web sites that not only look good, but work well. Work faster and smarter, and in the process, learn the joys of visual Web design.

Here’s a list of the sessions I’ll be presenting.

  • Dreamweaver 8: What’s New and What’s Hot
  • Dreamweaver Power Hour
  • Cascading Style Sheet Tips and Tricks
  • Advanced CSS Techniques
  • Page Layout with Cascading Style Sheets
  • Templates a Go-Go
  • Dreamweaver and the Dynamic Web
  • XML, XSLT and What Dreamweaver 8 Can Do About It

For more information visit www.macworldexpo.com. I hope to see you there.

Nov122005Don’t miss these podcasts!

If you weren’t fortunate enough to get down to Sydney,Australia for the 2005 Web Essentials conference, you can still tap into its collective wisdom via podcast. Web Essentials included presentations and workshops from some of the most influential thinkers, writers and practitioners of standards-based Web design (I guess my speaker invitation must have been lost in the mail.)

The WE2005 organizers and presenters were generous enough to let the world listen in on the thoughts of these great speakers. You can download the podcasts at http://we05.com/podcast/. In addition, many of the presentation materials and slides are available from the site.

It’s like having a $2000 conference right in your living room!
